Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Before beginning my career as a speech-language pathologist, I taught kindergarten, preschool, and reading intervention. In my 10 years of teaching, I interacted with many SLPs and was inspired by the amazing work they did! I went back to school and earned my Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Washington University in 2024.
In my clinical experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals with aphasia, voice disorders, TBI and stroke survivors, AAC users, and childhood apraxia of speech. I completed an internship at an elementary school where I evaluated and treated children with articulation, phonological, and language disorders. I most recently completed a clinical rotation at Providence Healthcare in Spokane, WA where I treated patients in an acute care setting, most often caring for patients with dysphagia and cognitive impairments.
I consider it a privilege to work closely with clients and help them become more confident and effective communicators. I’m passionate about individualized treatment and connecting with clients.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, running, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
