Our therapists work to improve social communication skills including perspective taking, initiating/maintaining conversation, interpreting and following social rules, problem solving, interpreting others’ emotions, and identifying/regulating one’s own emotions. We also offer social groups in order to address functional carryover of social skills. We incorporate a variety of Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking® tools.
