Baby Signs class forming – call for dates
The baby signs class is 3 weeks long and consists of one hour
per week. One or both parents can attend this class with their baby (8-18 months of age).
Please call for current cost of this class, payment is due upon registration. Handouts will be provided at the class, but doesn't include a book or video.
Introduction to Sign Language
Classes forming - Call to enroll
This Introduction to Sign Language Class is designed for people who have little or no sign language knowledge or experience. The class is designed to teach people not only basic signing skills, but also to teach about the community who depend on sign language. This is a beginning level class; in the future we plan to offer intermediate and advanced classes. The dates for future classes are T.B.A.
Objectives:
- Develop a functional knowledge of total communication.
- Gain proficiency in receptive and expressive sign language and fingerspelling.
- Apply signing skills during class drills and presentations.
Class Information:
- 6 weeks long, one night per week.
- Thursday nights.
- 5:30pm - 7:00pm (1˝ hours).
- Tuition varies, please call for current costs.
Instructor Information:
Deanne Seitz is the instructor for this course. She is looking forward to working with the hearing impaired population in Ft. Collins, as well as teaching classes.
