Annie Schubert MA.,CCC-SLPCertified Speech-Language PathologistClinic DirectorAfter studying Linguistics at the University of Michigan, I received my Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders at Louisiana State University. I am grateful to have experience as an SLP in a variety of settings across the lifespan including: language development, articulation/phonology, reading and writing, executive functioning, social/pragmatic language, stuttering, voice dysfunction, VCD, cognition, dysphagia (swallowing dysfunction), stroke/aphasia, and TBI rehabilitation. I am passionate about speech-language pathology and providing individualized intervention to best meet my patients’ needs. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, singing in the car, and traveling.
Linda LeBlanc Ph.D. M.A., CCC-SLPCertified Speech-Language PathologistI am a speech-language pathologist who started out as an early childhood educator. After completing graduate work (PhD) in early childhood education and after teaching college, I became a student again studying communication disorders. In 14 years as an SLP, I have worked primarily in Early Intervention. With my background in early childhood education, I understand what is developmentally appropriate for the child. This means that I am able to use activities that are optimally challenging for the child without being frustrating. I have used my opportunities for continuing education to attend seminars focused on language, play, and social skills development, especially in young children with autism spectrum disorder.
Grace Lorette M.A., CCC-SLPSpeech-Language PathologistI came to Colorado almost 5 years ago for my graduate degree and have never left! The sunshine and outgoing people were too much to pass up for this Washington-bred speech-pathologist. When not working with children, I enjoy painting, climbing, and hiking in the mountains. I feel strongly that communication services should be worked into the family’s routine as much as possible. My specialties include language development, Apraxia, augmentative alternative communication devices, social/pragmatic language, Autism, and articulation.
Cindy Peak M.S., CCC-SLPCertified Speech-Language PathologistI studied Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology as an undergraduate in Nebraska and then received my Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders at CSU. I spent the next years working in public schools across Nebraska. I had the pleasure to work in self-contained classrooms for students with language and learning disabilities in elementary and middle school, many of those on the autism spectrum, and I also worked as an itinerant clinician for schools and the Head Start Program, servicing students from pre-school to high-school. My family spent 14 years in the Minneapolis area where I provided speech-language services in a private school setting. In 2002, we had the opportunity to move back to Fort Collins, where I had left my heart so many years before, and I was thrilled to join the staff here at SLSC with my former classmate from CSU, Dr. Ann Pendley. Although I work with a wide range of communication challenges, my specialty areas include literacy, accent modification, tongue thrust/reverse swallow pattern, autism spectrum, and speech-language development. In my spare time, I work in community theatre and love watching old movies.
Kim Dickson M.S., CCC-SLPCertified Speech Language PathologistI graduated with a Bachelors degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, a Masters degree in Speech and Hearing from the University of Illinois and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Denver University. I have over 20 years experience working in early childhood programs, elementary and middle schools. My passion is young children with particular areas of interest in early language and early literacy development, articulation, apraxia and stuttering. In my free time I like to cook, travel, hike and read.
