Annie Schubert MA.,CCC-SLPCertified Speech-Language PathologistClinic DirectorAfter studying Linguistics at the University of Michigan, I received my Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders at Louisiana State University. I am grateful to have experience as an SLP in a variety of settings across the lifespan including: language development, articulation/phonology, reading and writing, executive functioning, social/pragmatic language, stuttering, voice dysfunction, VCD, cognition, dysphagia (swallowing dysfunction), stroke/aphasia, and TBI rehabilitation. I am passionate about speech-language pathology and providing individualized intervention to best meet my patients’ needs. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, singing in the car, and traveling.
Cindy Peak M.S., CCC-SLPCertified Speech-Language PathologistI studied Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology as an undergraduate in Nebraska and then received my Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders at CSU. I spent the next years working in public schools across Nebraska. I had the pleasure to work in self-contained classrooms for students with language and learning disabilities in elementary and middle school, many of those on the autism spectrum, and I also worked as an itinerant clinician for schools and the Head Start Program, servicing students from pre-school to high-school. My family spent 14 years in the Minneapolis area where I provided speech-language services in a private school setting. In 2002, we had the opportunity to move back to Fort Collins, where I had left my heart so many years before, and I was thrilled to join the staff here at SLSC with my former classmate from CSU, Dr. Ann Pendley. Although I work with a wide range of communication challenges, my specialty areas include literacy, accent modification, tongue thrust/reverse swallow pattern, autism spectrum, and speech-language development. In my spare time, I work in community theatre and love watching old movies.
Carly Hinton M.A., CF-SLPSpeech TherapistBorn and raised in Colorado, I can’t imagine starting my career anywhere else! I received both my Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado. As a clinician, I value individualized intervention and providing my patients with research-based therapies. I find each communication disorder unique and interesting, and I am especially passionate about stuttering, social thinking, AAC, autism spectrum disorder, stroke/aphasia, and dysphagia/swallowing. In my free time, I enjoy camping, traveling and spending time on my family’s farms.
